The name Riley5 stems way back to when I was five years of age. It was then that my creativity shot up and drawing was all I seemed to do. On every drawing I made, I’d sign it with a shaky “Riley5” just like all the professionals did.
Then I turned six and “Riley6” never took off. It was all downhill from there.
Based in Melbourne, I work as a freelance animator and video editor, working across the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
I’m most proficient inside Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, and working regularly with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign.
I attended Deakin University for Bachelors of Creative Arts (Animation and Motion Capture) and graduated in 2016 with Distinction.
The graduation animation I made with Lydia Evans, The Rusty Hook, was selected to be shown in the Melbourne International Animation Festival and the Australian International Animation Festival in 2017.
